Niger lists 15 anti-rebel operations with French forces Nigerien and French forces staged 15 "joint operations" seizing arms and ammunition from jihadist insurgents along the African country's volatile border with Mali from July to October, Niger's army said Saturday. The joint operations were reviewed this week during a meeting chaired by Niger's army chief of staff General Salifou Modi with French "partners", the army added, referring to the Barkhane forces sent by Paris.
